FREE ART LESSON + PROJECT FOR KIDS
DRAW + PAINT AN AIRSTREAM
Learn to draw an Airstream trailer using straight lines and curved lines, then just as an Airstream has exceptionally unique features, we'll add in unique colors using watercolor paint.
My favorite part about this project... there are no mistakes in art! Have fun drawing the cornered windows and adding vibrant color to your Airstream.

TIME NEEDED
The video is approximately 25 minutes, but the actual project may take closer to 45 minutes to complete. Remember, this video can be paused at any point if you need more time to complete a step.
AGE LEVEL
This art lesson + project is for all ages but geared towards the elementary level.
YOUNGER STUDENT OPTION
Have a preschooler or younger child who wants to create alongside their older sibling? A printable version of the Airstream drawing is available (free!). Print the pdf copy and encourage your child to trace, color, and/or paint the drawing: Airstream Coloring Page.
PARENT/TEACHER TIP
Want to skip out on the watercolor paints? Go for it. Draw the Airstream and leave it in black and white color, maybe even add a little more black in small area with your marker (i.e. outer tire, inner windows, etc.). Or, completely swap out the black marker/paint, and use colored markers or pencils for both the drawing and coloring. Have fun with it!
